10-15 is a great age to start BJJ — old enough to retain technique, young enough to build a serious skill base before life gets busy. Many of our most committed teen students never trained another martial art before walking onto our mats.
Competition is optional. Plenty of our teen students train hard and never compete. Some choose to and love it. Both paths work.
